New renderings of 43m limited edition “wellness-first” yacht Sea Rover unveiled

Dutch Design has unveiled new renderings of its 42.5-metre limited edition superyacht Sea Rover, offering further insight into the concept’s “wellness-first” approach. The design was first unveiled in Januray 2025, with construction on the first unit now underway.

Developed by Dutch Design founder Scott Blum and designer Bernd Weel, the Sea Rover series will comprise 10 vessels. The project will be concentrated on creating a holistic onboard experience that centres health, longevity and an active lifestyle.

As part of this vision, Dutch Design has partnered with British bedmaker Savoir to supply bespoke mattresses across all yachts in the series. Founded in 1905, Savoir handcrafts each mattress using natural materials such as horsetail and wool, with each piece requiring between 30 and 120 hours to complete.

“Recognising that quality sleep is fundamental to longevity and one of the three key pillars of wellness, aligning with the category-leading partner in the space was essential,” said the team at Dutch Design.

The newly released renderings place particular emphasis on the owner’s stateroom, offering a closer look at the interior direction of the project, alongside updated views of her exterior design.

The owner’s stateroom sits at the centre of this concept. It is designed as a private sanctuary with light wood finishes and neutral furnishings that underscore rest and recovery, in line with the yacht’s wider wellness-led philosophy. The interior details of theall harmoniously blend to form a refuge free from distraction and noise.

Sea Rover's interior profile reflects the project’s emphasis on wellness. In line with the yacht’s broader concept, her interior is designed as a calm luxurious retreat defined by natural materials, soft textures and a muted colour palette. Her expansive glazing allows abundant natural light to filter throughout the yacht while seamlessly connecting the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Outside, her exterior profile is characterised by sweeping lines and spacious tiered decks that serve as a sanctuary for rest and recovery. This is a yacht built around wellness: a bridge-deck spa, gym, and a sports court are all strategically placed at the focal points of her decks to capture the best views whilst encouraging guests to focus on wellbeing.

“I’ve seen firsthand the demand for a new lifestyle at sea, one that encourages activity and wellness,” said Dutch Design founder, Scott Blum. “Sea Rover is for the owner who likes to wake up and jump in the water; work out, go diving and use all their toys.”
